We had a great time following a cooking class at rim tang. Pa is an amazing teacher with many years of experience. She taught us the main ingredients used in typical Thai dishes, but also indicated how one can deviate from that when you want to replicate but not all ingredients are available back home. Pa took a lot of time for us and besides sharing her extensive cooking knowledge, she informed us about the local community as well, which was a great add on. Of course one of the highlights is to enjoy your own cooked meals. We would highly recommend rim tang cooking class and will definitely come back when we are visiting again!

We had a cooking class today with Pa and cooked two dishes (Phat Thai and Massaman Curry). Pa is a really good teacher and explains everything, even provides tips how to get the right ingredients in our country. She showed us how to cut the vegetables then it was our turn. Each of us had our own pan so we got to explore our own taste. After the first dish we sat down to enjoy our Phat Thai. After that we went on to our second dish. Pa provided package for take away because there was so much food and we got to have our self-made meal for dinner again. We enjoyed our time with Pa and really recommend this place to everyone who is interested in learning how to cook Thai food.

- the price depends on the amount of the dishes you want to cook, how many people you are and if all of you want to cook the same dishes or if each of you wants to cook different ones

-you will receive the recipes for your dishes in English

The best cooking school! We had the most wonderful cooking time with Pa. She is a lovely person with a big heart. She taught us to understand the culture of Thai food, not only just the flavours of it. There was no rush anywhere and we had an opportunity to learn cooking in peace. The food became excellent too!

We did a Thai Cooking class today and it was simply amazing. Pa is a great teacher and we had a lot of fun with her. The Green and Paneng Curry we made was really yummy 😋!

If you are in Koh Jum you definitely have to go to Rim Tang for a cooking class. We can fully recommend it!

If you have any interest in cooking (and even if you don’t but want to improve your skills) then booking a course with Pa should be high on your list of things to do whilst in Koh Jum… she is very passionate and knowledgeable about every aspect of cooking thai food, but most of all very friendly!
I chose my three favourite dishes to cook from a big list (cooking two dishes for a cheaper price is also possible if you prefer).
A fascinating and very tasty way to spend a few hours. thanks again Pa!

I have been to Koh Jum several times. The absolute number one favorite of the island and all of Thailand is Rim Tang Restaurant & Cooking School Koh Jum. It's the one impressive thing that keeps me coming back to Thailand year after year.

We had a great cooking experience with the lovely teacher/place owner Pa. For Pa, cooking is a passion and she teaches her students with passion and a big heart. Pa is very helpful, friendly and wonderful to be around. I chose three of my favorite dishes from the extensive list that was prepared with Pa. Pa had done the pre-preparation excellently and cooking the food was nice. We were able to determine the level of heat in the food ourselves and influence things in other ways. The food turned out tasty and the whole family could enjoy it. We got the recipes home and according to Pa's teachings, we have also prepared dishes in Finland.

The kitchen is clean and the milieu is cozy. Pa speaks English perfectly and it is easy and pleasant to do business with him. I'm already looking forward to seeing her again next year.

If you visit Koh Jum, I definitely recommend a cooking class at Rim Tang. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. A fascinating and very tasty way to spend a few hours in Thailand. Thank you Pa for all these wonderful and tasty experiences.
